I set off on my professional journey more than 2 decades ago when I completed my post-graduation in Physics with a strong ambition for scientific research, wanting to get a PhD in my chosen subject for research. That pursuit stayed unfilled when I chanced upon this job opportunity at TNS (then MODE). What started out as a temporary affair with market research eventually turned out to be my complete career dossier.
I navigated through my professional journey as a market researcher – oscillating between going full throttle working full time and periodically taking pit stops to meet the demands of my personal life and family. My innate desire to learn made me take up a two-year rigorous course in business management for senior professionals at IIM Indore. This helped me shift gears from functional focus to strategic planning. I was with Cross-Tab then.
Armed with a prestigious Management degree, when I was contemplating a return to a full-fledged professional opportunity, Borderless Access happened. And I haven’t looked back ever since. From managing one key strategic client to building a global Insights portfolio, I have come a long way.
Before joining Borderless Access 6 years ago, the million-dollar question I had asked myself, filled with uncertainty, was, – “Will I be able to successfully manage to work remotely from Mumbai as the only employee when the entire office staff is in Bangalore?”. I proverbially rose to the challenge as a phoenix does from the ashes, resulting in a journey at Borderless Access which has been nothing short of exciting. At Borderless Access, true to its name, the possibilities transcend all borders – and I am not referring only to geographical borders here… but borders that I have been able to seamlessly traverse with respect to my domestic responsibilities, diverse work responsibilities and demands on self-scaling and development.
With its DNA built on understanding consumer behavior- client centricity drives the Borderless Access engine. Here possibilities are limitless – new ideas (big or small) are exchanged, people are empowered, teams are nurtured and trained, innovations are encouraged… And every challenge is an opportunity in disguise that helps you push the boundaries and explore horizons hitherto envisaged.
