Sales Director – New Customer Acquisition (Research, Insights & Analytics) - UK

Role Summary

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and achieving revenue targets across the UK and Europe (UKE) region. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities for Borderless Access’ BA Insightz portfolio — a suite of end-to-end, customized Market Research and Analytics solutions spanning both B2C and B2B domains.

The position plays a pivotal role in delivering the leadership team’s vision of sustained and accelerated revenue growth by expanding Borderless Access’ footprint among mid to large enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic and tactical sales plan to expand the company’s new customer base in the UK and Europe, positioning BA Insightz as a digital-first, end-to-end insights partner.
  • Business Development: Actively prospect, engage, and convert new clients within mid- to large-size enterprises through outbound efforts, inbound leads, networking, and targeted roadshows.
  • Solution Selling: Promote the BA Insightz portfolio, including proprietary research frameworks such as Brand Health Tracking, Concept & Ad Testing, Customer Satisfaction, and Product Testing across both quantitative and qualitative research solutions.
  • Territory Management: Take ownership of a defined client group (updated quarterly), focusing primarily on the UK market, with selective engagement across key European markets (Germany, France, Netherlands).
  • Sales Reporting: Present pipeline status, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasts during bi-monthly business reviews and leadership meetings.
  • Quota Achievement: Deliver against new business revenue targets by applying strong sales hunting capabilities and strategic relationship building.
  • Handover and Collaboration: Partner closely with the Research Team to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new clients, maintaining Borderless Access’ reputation as a trusted insights partner.
  • Upsell & Cross-Sell Support: Collaborate with the Research Team to identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.

Market Representation: Represent Borderless Access at industry conferences, client events, and thought leadership forums — including speaking engagements and content delivery opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Market Research industry, with a strong track record in outbound new business sales.
  • Proven success selling Research and Analytics services to corporate clients across sectors such as CPG, Financial Services, Automotive, Media, and Digital.
  • Strong industry network and established credibility within target sectors.
  • Excellent ability to operate cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with Research, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated resilience, initiative, and speed of response, with strong pipeline management discipline.
  • Highly organized and proficient with CRM tools and digital sales platforms.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire clients and peers alike.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Europe.
  • Graduate degree required; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
