Sales Director – New customer acquisition – Research Insights & Analytics

Role Summary:
The role will be responsible for new customer acquisition and revenue target achievement across UKE (UK/Europe) region. The person will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects for the Borderless Access Research (Branded as BA Insightz) portfolio that includes End to End Customised Market Research & Analytics Services in the B2C and B2B space. The goal is to contribute towards the leadership team’s vision for continuing rapid and sustainable revenue growth for the UKE Region.

Job Description and Responsibility:
• Design and implement a strategic and tactical sales plan that expands the company’s new customer base focused on the UK (and Europe), and position Borderless Access as a contemporary digital-first end-to-end customized research and insights company
• Focused on actively prospecting and selling BA Insightz Solutions to mid and large size enterprises in the region. BA Insightz portfolio includes proprietary research framework including Brand Health Tracking, Concept/Ad Testing, Customer Satisfaction, Product Testing across Quantitative and Qualitative research solutions
• Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through own leads, In and Outbound leads, networking and social media and conducting sales road shows in various markets
• Taking ownership for a client group (updated quarterly) across mostly the UK region and where appropriate across Europe in focus markets such as: Germany, France, Netherlands.
• Regularly presenting sales pipeline, revenue forecast during bi-monthly reporting calls and meetings
• Deliver on sales quota numbers by utilizing his/her expert sales hunting skills to acquire new client logo’s.
• Note that the Research Team will take on the primary responsibility and account management of newly acquired customers. Here it will be necessary to work closely with the Research Team to manage handovers appropriately and to ensure that Borderless Access is acknowledged as a trusted and extended partner to clients through this handover.
• Partner lightly with the Research Team to upsell and cross-sell solutions across existing clients.
• Representing Borderless Access at industry events and conferences and taking up the speaking opportunities to deliver world class content

Qualifying Skills:
• Demonstrated record of success in outbound sales environment (minimum 10 years of research industry experience, and new sales specific experience, preferably management graduate, minimum college degree).
• Should have actively sold research & analytics services to Corporates and hence have an active network across industry verticals such as: CPG, Finance, Automotive, Broadcasting, Digital etc
• Show the ability to engage and work effectively across a multi-disciplinary team to drive sales opportunities and impact.
• Be a strong initiator, with good follow-through, show great resilience and speed of response
• Be willing to take up extensive travel as it is a core need for this position.
• The person should be disciplined on updating CRM tools and be technically adept.
• The person should have the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor associates, leading by example.
• Show the potential to build and develop a high performing sales team, while also working effectively as an individual contributor and in a remote role
