Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The position is a business development role primarily for new customer acquisition and revenue growth targets in the DACH / UK market. The candidate will be responsible for untapping and pursuing new sales prospects for the Borderless Access product and service portfolio that includes Online & Mobile Panels, End-to-End Market Research Services, Healthcare Panels & new offerings like Syndicated / OmniBus Surveys plus innovative digital research products like SmartSight and HealthSight. The goal is to contribute towards the team’s vision for continuing rapid and sustainable growth in the DACH / UK region.
The candidate will report to the VP – Europe who is based in Hamburg,
Germany.
Responsibilities:
·
Achievement of sales targets – both existing clients and new client
business
·
Identify and lead new business opportunities through cold calling,
networking, and social media
·
Makes decisions, guided by company strategy and business/functional
objectives that impact results.
·
Assists in designing and implementing a strategic business plan that
expands company’s customer base in DACH / UK region.
·
Actively prospects and sells BA’s Panel services (B2C, B2B, Healthcare),
Research services (Full service projects, TAPP and others) & Products
(SmartSight, HealthSight) into new/existing accounts
·
Represents Borderless Access at industry events and conferences
·
Presents sales pipeline, revenue, expenses reports, and realistic
forecasts
Development of new
relationships with clients would include the following:
·
Involvement at all project levels (though not leading the project
execution which will be carried out from operations team) for a few initial
engagements.
·
Guides the project teams (PM) and account teams (AM) to project wins and
closes the sales.
·
Involvement with PM/AM teams in case local nuances and knowledge is
required to support the teams in winning the pitch.
·
Delivers along with the AM teams proposals as per client specs.
Candidate Requirements
·
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
·
3-7+ years of experience (depending on role) in Market Research,
Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail or CPG.
Key Skills
·
Sales/Marketing skills (Manager) / Advanced Sales/Marketing skills (Director)
and knowledge of the Insights industry
· Successful management of BA’s portfolio of DACH/E-EU and UK prospects/customers
·
Demonstrated record of success in outbound sales environment with a
minimum of 3-4 years of research/panel solution/Healthcare space (B2C, B2B, and HC) for Business Development Manager or
minimum of +7 years of research/panel solution/Healthcare space (B2C, B2B, and HC) for Business Development Director.
·
Proven track record in selling panel solution, research & analytics
or Healthcare-related propositions
· Fluency in both German (only for Germany Location) and or English
· The candidate should be disciplined on updating MIS/maintaining CRM tools and comfortable with technology
· Be willing to take up extensive travel as it is core need for this position.

The position will be hired under Borderless Access registered offices in Germany or Romania.
The position will involve work for home or virtual office; and expenses towards the same will be duly compensated
