Business Development Representative (BDR)

Responsibilities
This
role will join our growing team based in New Orleans and be a key driver of the
company’s exciting expansion plans in North America. You will be responsible
for supporting the US team and build out our client base partnering with the
Vice President of Sales to create and drive revenue. You will help open doors
and build relationships.
Role and responsibilities:
· Research and gather information on targeted companies and leads,
identifying appropriate contacts (name, phone, email),and potential hooks for
sales opportunities in order to drive forward the sales process
· Prospect and schedule a high and consistent cadence of
appointments by email, LinkedIn, networking and other channels to deliver the
unique Borderless Access value propositions
· Create and manage a large pipeline of prospects, identifying the
key individuals, generating interest, and managing objections
· Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly qualified meeting goals
· Prepare content and assist with client presentations where
required
· Assist with client management and project team communication where
required
· Leverage marketing efforts such as press releases, case studies
and testimonials to help book new prospect meetings
· Update and maintain activity records in Hubspot
· Contribute to the further development of sales materials and tools (currently using Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
Candidate Requirements
·
Comfortable with high volume campaigns to book meetings with
target profiles in prospective accounts
·
Proven experience in communicating effectively (verbal and
written), building relationships quickly over the phone and following up to
generate leads
·
Excellent research and investigative abilities using the internet
and traditional media
·
Ability to drive urgency and achieve measurable goals
·
Self-motivated, results-driven, energetic and able to work
independently
·
Strong interpersonal skills, cross cultural awareness and
effective at working in a team
·
Action oriented - focused on things that need to be done,
prioritizes, and seizes opportunities as they arise
·
Can think on their feet and have a healthy competitive nature
·
Positive attitude and ability to build trust with prospective
customers and team members
·
Passionate, curious, tenacious, resilient, as well as flexible and
coachable
· Aptitude to successfully prospect using email automation software such as Hubspot, Outreach/Salesloft a plus, but not required.
· Experience working in the service industry (bartender, waiter, waitress) a plus, but not required.
